Steve L. Cannon

Steve L. Cannon is director of the General Sunday School Division. Before coming to the World Evangelism Center, he pastored First United Pentecostal Church in Batesville, Mississippi, for twenty-one years. Previous to pastoring, he evangelized for four years and was an assistant pastor for eight years. He was also a weekly radio speaker on The Pentecostal Hour for twenty-three years. He and his wife, Rita, were married in 1978 and have three daughters, Vangi, Kandi, and Mauri, and eight grandchildren: McKaLyne, Kanon, Jenna, Kade, Danika, Halli Rae, Annaleigh, and Darlynn Grace. During his ministry in the UPCI Mississippi District, Brother Cannon served as Youth sectional director, district Youth secretary, Sunday School sectional director, district Sunday School secretary, and district Sunday School director. He was also on the Finance Committee for fifteen years and was the editor of the Mississippi TORCH for ten years. He was elected GSSD director of the year three times and runner-up seven times. In addition to his ministry, he has been employed with the United Postal Service for thirty-five years. He worked as a clerk/carrier in Lula, Clarksdale, and Oxford, Mississippi, and as postmaster of Como, Mississippi. He has served as chaplain, vice-president, and president of the Mississippi National Association of Postmasters. He attended Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, and has completed fifty courses from the Harvard Business School.

 



 

Robbie W. Knox

Robbie W. Knox was elected as the divisional secretary at the 2006 General Conference in Columbus, Ohio. Robbie has served as an evangelist, assistant pastor, and Senior Pastor in Carrollton, Kentucky. He was an outstanding district Sunday school director for the Kentucky District and served in that capacity from 2003-2006. Along with his duties as General Sunday School Secretary Robbie serves alongside Pastor Ron Hendricks in Madisonville, Kentucky as Family Pastor of the Greater Lighthouse Church. Robbie resides with his wife Krista and two children; Houston, who is eleven-years-old, and Brooklyn, who is nine-years-old; in Madisonville, Kentucky.


 

Donnie Sheerin

Donald J. Sheerin Jr. was appointed director of promotions in 2006. He is the senior pastor of First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett, Missouri, and also serves as the Missouri District Sunday School director and presbyter of Section 4. He has previously served as an assistant pastor, youth pastor, principal, full-time evangelist and sectional Youth director/secretary. Donald is a graduate of Indiana Bible College, where he received his Bachelor Degree in Theology in 1990. He resides in Kennett, Missouri, with his wife Chae and three children: Tess, Emma, and Abby.


 

Sis. Lana Farnell

Lana Farnell has worked for the Sunday School Division since 2006. She previously worked for the Home Missions Division. Lana attends Lighthouse UPC in O'Fallon, Missouri.
